Return Policy

Berkey products are typically highly reliable once their basic operation is understood. Safe Water Alberta will make every reasonable effort to help remedy any concerns you have. If we have not been able to remedy your concerns and you are dissatisfied with an item(s) you purchased from us that has not been used, please contact us within 14 business days of receipt. Return shipping is at the buyers expense, unless there was an error made by us. In order to receive a full refund, the items must be unused and returned in the original retail box/packaging. If an item is returned damaged by personal handling or return shipping and not returned in re-saleable condition it will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. In the case of a return, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees and insurance. We do not charge restocking fees on any returns.

Items that are damaged and/or not in resalable condition will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. No refunds and/or credits will be issued beyond the 30 day period.

All product returns require an authorization number, (RMA) which will be emailed to you.  This RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box. Boxes without this number will be refused at the cost of the shipper.

You will ship us the item in it’s original condition, in the original box, with all of the original packaging and parts to receive a full refund of the purchase price.  We do not charge restocking fees.  You are responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective merchandise.

Refunds or credits for any reason can take up to 2 weeks to process.  From the date you receive our credit memo by email, refunds may take 5-10 business days for your financial institution to process before appearing on your statement.
